Bonus combos below, because I was playing around with the idea of a visual novel sprite...

Oh gosh- This is both a hard and easy one I guess, since there's definitely layers and I've thought of quite a few over time ! I don't know if the recent not-so Overwatch crossover piece- Which was more so just being inspired by D.VA- Was what sparked this question, because while I definitely entertained the idea of an Overwatch crossover, not sure if I'd personally do anything for it myself. Though I think it would be fun to see others do it ! Especially if you consider the parallels of 76 & Reaper to Kakashi and Obito, though there are lots of other potential ways to go ( Like how I entertained a D.VA Kakashi )

Otherwise, I've definitely thought of a Cyperpunk 2077 and/or Edgerunners crossover before- It's fun to consider Kakashi as a Netrunner, and Obito as an eventual-or-already Cyberpsycho, because I can see the Hashirama cell parallel with chroming out, while Rin could easily fit into the role of a Ripperdoc or be put on Trauma Team ! Etc etc, lots of possibilities. I also noted Edgerunners rather than just the base setting since I would honestly love to redraw Kakashi and Obito during the ambulance scene, or other scenes between Lucy and David

Another one that would be interesting in it's own way, if only because I'm a big fan of video games and the horror genre, especially the early 2000 RPG maker era, would be Angels of Death ! I loved that game a lot when I was younger, so I think I'd especially enjoy a way to incorporate Kakashi and Obito into it- I always have such a massive tie of suicide ideation to Kakashi, so it would be easy to imagine him in the role of Ray, begging / making a deal with Obito to "Please kill me."

Honestly there would be a lot of fun and interesting things to explore with it, but I know there could also be a lot of inspiration to gain from it, rather than just doing a full crossover- This one, also, unlike Cyberpunk, is one I've floated around before :

No friends, no family- Nowhere to go at all. Stuck, and they all knew it, which was why he was so easy to trick. Desperate to stay afloat as well as too scared to do it all alone, vulnerable, especially when it came to the idea of being alone.

Unable to get over that vulnerability, years later, but now he couldn’t imagine handing even a hair of himself over to anyone. Too apprehensive of others and their intents to believe any bonds he tried to forge would be real. A lack of positivity in his mindset that would never allow him to trust someone again, even if he so desperately wished for someone like that in his life.

And god did he wish ‘wishing on a star’ actually worked, because beyond money, beyond food and shelter, he knew for sure that the one thing he wanted above all else was someone he would always be safe with.

Lost in that thought as he watched his colleagues cuddle up to various strangers in booths. Laughing and drinking. Sometimes getting heated before heading back to a private room. Where they all eventually headed in the end.
