Introducing paid subscriptions on Haxi
For the past few years, we’ve run Haxi as free service for both drivers and passengers. It’s a great solution in areas with limited access to public transportation like trains, buses and taxis.
The Supreme Court in Norway gave Haxi green light to continue development in 2016. The number of drivers have increased to 12.000. More than 100.000 users have dowloaded the app. Haxi is a free service and we would like to keep it like that for passengers.
So what’s changing? We’d like to grow Haxi with a lot more passengers = more traffic for drivers across Europe and US. To accomplish this we introduce a low subscription fee for drivers active more than three times per month. Funds will boost marketing and development to make Haxi even better for more users.
Haxi will remain free for passengers.
The subscription plans will roll out in Norway this week and Worldwide in the coming months.
