Alice smiled. Finally someone who didn’t think she was a huge weirdo, or wanted to hurt anyone. “Thank you!” she beamed, feeling flattered and validated. “I hope to have these finished by my exhibition in June.”

Leonardo studies the plans for a few more minutes and then looks to her.  “I know you will do great with them.  If you need help let me know.”  He loves helping students reach their dreams.  Reminds him of when he would mentor his apprentice.  Sure it was Salai but still.

“And you were that excited over….regular snapping?” Jessica blinked at him, a little disappointed ( magical snapping would have been pretty cool ). “Anyone ever tell you that you’re a little strange?” She smiled, “I’m Jessica, by the way. I can’t really snap at all, actually. Not even the regular kind.”

“Being excited’s fun.”  GIR said, giving a stupid smile but literally you can hiccup and he’ll be happy and want to do it too.  “Yea !  Zim calls me stupid sometimes.”  He says to her.  “And I’m Gir !”

Vanilla and coconut! Goofy nodded to himself and finished the cupcake, licking crumbs of his fingers. “It’s really good! I think you should definitely make more and sell them!” he said with a big grin. “Do you do other flavours?”

“Awww yay !  Makes my heart happy.  And I work at the cafe and I love loadssssss of flavors !  And cookies like a pineapple one.  That one’s not doing so well but still it’s good and i have flavored cupcakes too like blueberry ones and a strawberry shortcake one.”

Alice opened her notebook and showed him the diagrams for all the weapons she had dreamt up. “This one is an ice wand, which freezes enemies, and this one is a laser beam, and this one is a tea pot that shoots boiling hot water grenades, this one is a machine gun that is fashioned after a pepper grinder…” she babbled enthusiastically.

Leonardo listens to her speak as he looks at the designs.  Yes odd.  Truly odd. . .but who is he too judge was is odd and what isn’t ?  “Fascinating.  Truly fascinating.”  His eyes keep scanning, already trying to figure out what components would work with what.  “I love it.”

“Yes, please!!” Goofy lit up, taking the cupcake and taking a big bite out of it. His eyes rolled up into his head and he made a happy noise. “So nice! What flavour is it?” he asked, instantly happier at the sweet treat. 

“Thank you !  I made it myself.  It’s a vanilla cupcake with coconut filling and frosting !”

Leonardo’s eyes widen at that.  Now he’s excited.  “Ah how fascinating !  Tell me.. .what era were you form ?  You don’t seem to me you were in Altair’s time but. . .no no that look you must be from the past farther then that.”  This is purely based on his observations of her and the air she gives off

“Hello !  I was wondering if you wanted to try a cupcake ?”  GIR asks, holding a tray out.  “I’m doing a little test to see if I get enough people to like it then I can have it as one of the sweets at Java Java.” 

“Yea. . .sure I know that !  . . .I don’t know. . .sorry.”

If only Alexios was able to read thoughts, he probably would have gotten a laugh out of being considered the strange one out of the two. “Understandable,” he said matter-of-fact-ly. “I start speaking Greek out of no where sometimes.”

“Ah Greek.  Was common to learn in my time I know enough to pass.”  Leonardo said.  “B-but still I understand to shift from new language to native one.”

Alice smiled, nodding. She did wonder though… “You share your name with the famous polymath.” she pointed out, “Do you also invent things? I wanted to ask a few questions on some of the weapons I’ve built… nothing sinister, purely for art purposes.”

“Is it…regular snapping or like magical snapping?” As a woman that had seen a lot in her life, she felt the need to ask. “But, hey—I’ll take it! Usually people aren’t so happy to see that. Can I hear your snapping?”

“No it’s regular snapping.  Like this.”  He says and just snaps.  It does nothing special but it makes a cool sound to GIR.

Ezio shook his head. “Non penso davvero che sia una buona idea. Non voglio bruciare l'appartamento…Non credo che le altre persone che vivono nell'edificio sarebbero molto contenti di questo. ” he stopped and waved his hand. “ Smettiamola di parlare di questo…Non un'altra parola da parte mia ” he ate the remainder of his crepe and took a napkin from his pocket to wipe his mouth in case he missed anything. 

“Oh si il compagno di stanza. Ho dimenticato per un po 'questo posto ha compagni di stanza.”  (Oh yes the roommate. I forgot for a bit this place has roommates.) Leonardo says, eating his crepe.  Man he hopes his roommate doesn’t hate him for how he is.  Probably even introduced themselves and he was too busy in his work, his own little world he disappears to, that he didn’t hear it.  He must really change that.   “Quindi puoi mangiare quella tua crepe?” (So you can eat that crepe of yours ? ) He teased to lighten the mood he hopes he didn’t bring down
