My character, Ernst von Gemmingen-Krieghammer, officer from Grenadier-Regiment „Königin Olga“ (1. Württembergisches) Nr. 119.
I want to draw something before the Great War
My oc, Ernst von Krieghammer, the son of a Swabian noblewoman and an Austrian officer. He's about 16 years old here, attending gymnasium and planning to link life with a military career. The boy is energetic, a born leader but very willful constantly arguing with his father and older brother but very much loved by his uncle. His uncle is his idol with his stories about service in the Middle East, an example of true nobleman's behavior - about their friendship I am writing a story now.
My oc, Moses Stern is an aspiring tax lawyer from Stuttgart. He grew up in a fairly well-to-do Jewish family of a law professor. He's a quiet guy, but time after time he's always making extroverted friends who pull him through life. Moses had the misfortune to be the child of his semi-genius parent: climbing from the lowest rungs, cutting ties with his family, Moses' father, Theodore, seemed to have reached all conceivable and unthinkable heights in the profession and made no less demands on his son. Moses had no enthusiasm for his profession (which he went into because he didn't know what else to do). In his youth a real rebellion is ripening in him, he wants to feel the taste of life, he spends many hours in bicycle rides around the neighborhood, saving money for a trip to Greece. All this does not bring him satisfaction, and while temporarily he works for his father, muses in the evenings on the violin and thinks about where to go next, when suddenly the Great War thunders and takes him away with it

«Весна была его любимым временем года, даже его имя говорило об этом. Множество засушенных цветов скрытых в толстом альбоме, что пылился далеко, в родительском гнезде — все эти цветы были красивыми и мёртвыми.»
My Oc, Mathias von Hemmingen. He worked for many years in the German attaché in the Ottoman Empire, went at first on a mission with Goltz Pasha to train Ottoman officers and reorganize the army, but in the process he settled in, fell in love with the region and culture and was soon adventuring all over the Middle East. This portrait hangs in his office after his retirement. Though his travels are in the past, mentally he longs for them and dreams of returning to the region again, which he will do in WWI

My WW1 oc, Ernst von Krieghammer, german officer. He saw moon fields of the Somme, the fighting in the Argonne forest, commanded an assault squad. An aristocrat and a man with mind of the old world, he had to reformat himself to the realities of the new industrial war and it's very interesting for me to track these changes
My oc Ilmari for which I was inspired by Karelo-Finnish motifs

Moses Stern, my oc in WW1. He is a German Jew from Stuttgart, a lawyer by profession and a musician at heart. He went to the front from his unsettled life and followed his patriotic friend. The Somme became his baptism of fire. Moses has consistently worked his way up from a private to a Sub commander and has became an excellent commander for his soldiers. He was attracted by adventurism which he perfectly combined with his deep rationality.
Based on Dreyfus Affair I used some theatrical effect to show more emotion in this scene and put more accent on the fact that an innocent person is convicted
