📚 TIMBUKTU: AFRICA'S CITY OF KNOWLEDGE 📚

Long before many modern universities were established, Timbuktu stood as one of the world's greatest centers of learning, scholarship, and culture. Located in the Mali Empire, the city attracted scholars, merchants, and students from across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.

Its famous libraries preserved hundreds of thousands of manuscripts covering science, medicine, mathematics, astronomy, law, and history. Timbuktu proved that Africa was not only a land of wealth and trade, but also a beacon of knowledge and intellectual achievement.

The story of Timbuktu reminds us that education, innovation, and wisdom have always been part of Africa's rich heritage.

A group of talented teenagers from South Sudan proved that age is no limit when it comes to changing the world. Led by Adau Deng Kuol and James Madut, they created the Ramceil Botics robot, an invention designed to help remove plastic waste from rivers and waterways.

Their innovation earned them a spot at the First Global Challenge in Dubai, where they competed against 1,500 students from 191 countries. The team's mission was bigger than winning—it was about finding real solutions to one of the world's biggest environmental problems.
