Funny but never as much as the fact that Benjamin Hunter was only the name of Miles Edgeworth in the French version and only the French version.
From what Iâve gathered only the French version changed it while the other European countries just kept it the same as the English version.
I know we had an habit of changing every name that might sound too foreign and be difficult to pronounce for little (and apparently idiotic) French kids at the time but was it worth stripping him away from such a cool and badass name???
But mostly do you know how confused younger me was when she first started reading in English and wanted to look up fics but couldnât find anything and didnât know who the hell was edgeworth and why everyone was shipping him with Phoenix when Benjamin was the obvious choice????
