Forever â Pilot Episode {Sentence Starters}
âYou want a drink.â
âIs this a confession?â
âOh, those are for sex.â
âAnd Iâm always naked.â
âI was not hitting on you.â
âHow would you know that?â
âHe doesnât have any friends.â
âI was in a hurry this morning.â
âBut, if I want to find you, I will.â
âIâd say this is cause for celebration.â
âWell, I wonât bore you with the detailsâŚâ
âI can assure you, Iâve been called worse.â
âItâs kind of awesome. And kind of creepy.â
âBeyond all else I have lots and lots of time.â
âLook, this doesnât have to be a one-nighter.â
âBut, then she came to her senses and left me.â
âThis person must have really cared about you.â
âYou do realize the gravity of what youâre saying?â
âIâve seen a lot of death, a lot of pain, a lot of suffering.â
âOh, it occurred to me, but I didnât think it was relevant.â
âIâve also seen a lot of life, a lot of beauty, a lot of wonder.â
âToo much time in one place is dangerous. You know that.â
âThereâs no reason you and I couldnât be something, yeah?â
âBut, what really gets you is when life ceases to surprise you.â
âYou see, something happened that night⌠I was transformed.â
âDonât worry. I am the least judgmental person youâll ever meet.â
âUm, when I said âcreepiestâ, I meant that in the nicest possibleâŚâ
âWell, my assumption is that your drinking is a recent development.â
âIt might sound a bit implausible. In fact, you probably wonât believe it.â
âYou might not be able to die, but you havenât lived for a very long time.â
âThen we donât run. We stay and find out who he is and what heâs after.â
âMy life is just like yours.. except for one small difference: it never ends!â
âI wish I could be as trusting as you, but⌠I have to run. Itâs my only choice.â
âAnd if Iâve learned nothing else from my time here, itâs donât mess with fate.â
âWhat keeps us alive more important than blood or oxygen or even love⌠is hope.â
âBut, I assure you I look exactly the same every day. Although, that still may be like crap.â
âThe problem with living 200 years isnât the loneliness or the loss. Okay sure, it is those things.â
âItâs not the number of years we live that matters⌠our lives just add up to a series of moments.â
âIâve seen a lot of death, a lot of pain, a lot of suffering; but Iâve also seen a lot of life, a lot of beauty, a lot of wonder.â
