'BREAKING NEWS: MASS CASUALTY DISCOVERY IN NORWAY — MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES'

The studio camera centers on the anchor, her hands steady but her voice tense.

“Good evening. We interrupt regular programming with a shocking international development. Authorities in Norway have confirmed the discovery of what appears to be an entire unidentified military force found dead in a remote mountainous region earlier this morning.”

The screen cuts to aerial footage—snow-covered terrain, emergency helicopters circling, blue and red lights flashing against white drifts.

“According to preliminary reports from Norwegian officials, hundreds of bodies—soldiers and what appear to be research personnel—were discovered surrounding a massive, shattered structure described by investigators as a ‘large science-fiction-like containment tube.’”

The image zooms in on the wreckage.

The glass cylinder is obliterated. Thick, jagged black spikes protrude from within.

“One body—believed to be the army’s leader—was found suspended inside the remains of the structure. Officials state the body was impaled by multiple black, spear-like protrusions. One spike appears to have pierced directly through the chest.”

The studio falls quiet for a brief second.

“There were no signs of conventional weapon fire in the immediate area. Instead, investigators report extensive claw and bite marks on many of the victims.”

The camera switches to a live correspondent standing in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, crowds gathering around large outdoor screens.

“Here in Japan, reactions are pouring in. The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement expressing concern and requesting further clarification from Norwegian authorities. Defense analysts are reportedly monitoring the situation closely.”

The correspondent lowers her voice slightly.

“What makes this even more disturbing is how the scene was discovered. Officials confirm it was not military reconnaissance—but a wandering young woman hiking through the region.”

Cut to a blurred interview clip. The young woman’s voice trembles, translated into Japanese subtitles.

“I thought it was a crashed facility… I saw shapes in the snow… then I saw the spikes… and the bodies… I ran.”

The feed cuts back to the studio.

“Authorities say the woman was found in a state of extreme distress and is currently receiving medical care. Her identity has not been released for privacy reasons.”

A graphic appears on screen:

'❓ No known hostile nation claims involvement.' '❓ No biological agents detected so far.' '❓ Cause of death remains under investigation.'

“Experts are struggling to explain what could cause simultaneous fatal injuries across such a large group, especially with the unusual wound patterns described as ‘non-standard predatory trauma.’”

The anchor exhales slowly.

“At this time, there is no indication of danger extending beyond the site in Norway. However, international intelligence agencies—including Japan’s Self-Defense Forces—are reportedly reviewing satellite data from the region prior to the incident.”

She looks directly into the camera.

“This is a developing story. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.”

The breaking news banner pulses again.
