That’s it though, I saw that thread two days ago and didn’t show it to anyone because I knew it was stupid, but of course, 13 year old new stans had to find it and spread it and be like omg I didn’t know Harry was the anti christ! No offense but honestly there should be a minimum age for twitter, and it should be 21 imo

I said the same thing. The only reason those disgusting threads spread are because of Harry stans. I started seeing my own mutuals quoting different tweets and I was like ‘here we go again’. They will never learn and some of them truly think Harry is some devil walking around in disguise.

My anxiety has gone down so much after not being on twitter for the past 2ish days. I do encourage my mutuals to NOT post twitter drama or what’s happening on there because that’s the reason some of us left and it gave us major anxiety.

Right when I finally check twitter again, another ‘thread’ is being shared by my OWN mutuals. When will they understand that THEY are the reason these things blow up. Not to mention that thread has fake tweets in it that aren’t real. I’m so done with that app.

This notion that stan twitter takes where upon learning of a crisis, they IMMEDIATELY turn to a celebrity to speak out about it is so fucked. What are your goals? To raise awareness about the actual issue at hand or is it to say celebrity x out-woked celebrity y? Why are celebrities the moral compass? Why do white people get angrier about a topic than the marginalized group involved to overcompensate?
