Your eyes fluttered open softly. Your body feeling soothed from the brief nap. You and Yixing had fallen asleep wrapped in each other’s arms. Unconscious movement found you waking up differently. You raised a hand to your face, yawning and shifting slightly. A small weight shifted on your chest, arms wrapping around your torso tighter.

“Don’t move.” he mumbled. You chuckled lightly, raking your fingers through his hair as his head rest upon your chest, soft breaths tickling your skin. Yixing hummed in satisfaction, a small smile resting on his lips. He turned his head slightly and placed a few soft butterfly kisses across your skin before returning to his rightful spot on his favourite pillow. 

Your hand ran along his back slowly, fingers dancing over his bare skin. A soft chuckle came from him. The serenity of the afternoon was almost enough to lull you both back to sleep. 

“I love you, baby.” he muttered.
