10 years ago, the first KĐ’s Summer Night was one of the biggest and most successful convention in Hanoi which opened up the most prosperous period of cosplaying in Hanoi, as well as laid the foundation for the second generation of Hanoi cosplayer. 10 years ago, I was only a visitor came to cheer for a friend who participated in that contest and enjoy the enthusiastic atmosphere as usual. At that time, I had never thought that I would join in this magical world because all the cosplayers around were too splendid, too wonderful!

10 years later, I am a cosplayer who took a long break during 2 years studied abroad. My love of cosplay still exists, but was prevented by my busy work and my laziness. However, the big event came back after 10 years refreshed me, made me feel that the fire of passion still burns inside me.

Since it was an event held by Kim Dong Publishing House, we decided to choose characters of Kim Dong to cosplay. Quite hard to make the decision while my partner was also a staff for the contest, so we preferred a simple costume. Then Mursakibara and Himuro from Kuroko no Basket were picked.

Oops, my faults :”> Always forgot toupdate my blog :p Such a long time haven’t joined any photoshoot. Actually, it was not really a cosplay, we would like to try combining cosplay and lookbook style just for fun, and see how it works. The pictures were so good, although they were not really what I expected =)). Christmas was passed, but I do hope that you like this shoot. And happy Lunar New…

It was a wonderful time when I had chance to meet many interesting people from all over the world as well as travel to half of the countries and regions in Schengen area (you can see my travels in my blog: https://cuckootravelogue.wordpress.com/, available in Vietnamese only but I will try to add English version soon), that I also asked myself why I had enough time to both studying,  gaining money and traveling haha. Europe is amazing, but for me life is just existing without spiritual life. Then it’s only a stop for me to renew something in my mind, and increase my knowledge and experiences. Hence, I decided to come back to Vietnam, come back to Hanoi, my always-beloved city where I’ve grown up, where my family and friends living. Home is always where you feel most comfortable :)

As usual, cannot miss Halloween of The Garden Shopping Center, one of the biggest convention each year. This year we were glad to welcome back 3 special guests: mit-san and JUN&NERU, with the theme Touken Ranbu to fit with mit-san’s latest exhibition.

I had 3 Honmaru in my wishlist and finally I can did one =)). It’s time for Kogitsunemaru on stage (then I was a little bit regret because it’s damn hot inside the costume T_T). Too busy to prepare for the convention so I just had a few photos. But it was really happy when I could meet several people after a long time.

It’s been a long time, I traveled to a city and fell in love with it. Geneva is not a unique city. It’s small, peaceful, quiet (and expensive, haha). But I love its atmosphere, which makes me feel peace. I like walking along the lakeshore of Rue du Lac, climbing to the rock scattered in the lake, having lunch and seeing the seagulls fly near the fountain. I like wandering in small alleys in old…

My friend told me that it’s the biggest convention in Germany. It’s the first time I joined in a convention overseas. Such an amazing feeling with several beautiful cosplayers *O*
