whenever he's gonna read something and can't find his eyeglasses not even a second passes when the cook places then on the countertop beside him. like, quickly he doesn't even stop to hear thanks or anything. and zoro just grabs them and wears them and reads and all that shit.

no matter what sanji's doing, he always knows the sound zoro makes when he looks for his specs so he reacts and gets them for him (since somehow zoro always fucking loses track of them once he puts them off)

and that's like, everytime. it just always happens. it's almost like a natural thing they do.

get mad at each other for some bullshit that happened at the marketplace (i.e. sanji taking too long to pay for the 200kg of groceries zoro's been carrying for 20 minutes outside the store, zoro finding out then leaving him to get to the ship which forces sanji to abandon his casanova activities to look for zoro because he obviously wasn't going to get to the ship, taking 3 hours to find him which also leads to dinner being delayed)

so fucking mad they really just don't even look at each other for hours but still keep paying too much attention when the other is around.. like.. you don't want to see but you want to hear..

until it's late and they're alone in the galley. ignoring but paying attention.

"look," zoro starts after taking the last sip of a stolen booze bottle from the pantry. "you hurry at paying the groceries and i don't get more than 3 meters away from you. your choice."

sanji stays silent.

next island stop. they go grocery shopping. sanji's at checkout, putting hearing zoro's swords' clink on top of the mental priority list. as long as he can hear his swords, he's near. putting too much attention to zoro's sounds makes sanji awkward in front of the market lady. uncomfortable moment. pay and bye.

as they head towards the ship, zoro speaks up.
