You fought and you made up, and those highs and lows were called passion. But I’m opting out of that mentality. Sure, relationships include arguments, but pain is not a side effect of love. If someone is harming you physically, mentally, emotionally, or sexually, that is not love.

I think love is a hard word to define… You can love a lot of things about a person and still not love the whole person.
