also I don't think parents "these days" are uniquely terrible, I just think neglect is showing up in new ways as technology progresses. today's ipad kid would've been wandering around in a ditch alone all day and night before. parents not wanting to have to deal with children is not a new phenomenon.

idk if this is an ocd thing but it sucks when you have a hyperfixation on a character but you want them to look an exact way in your head and nothing ever satisfies it. like I score my head again and again to make them look that exact description I want but there is so much I want it to be like and no version that I imagine comes close—there is always something a little off. Or they’re just not holding. it’s so frustrating and you keep on worrying at that bruise until you can’t even read it because you’re too busy trying to get the image to co-operate and hold that you can’t derive satisfaction out of it. And the compulsions just keep making you run in loops- just try harder think more it will work this time. ik this is prolly a non issue but it seriously sucks man it’s so hard to enjoy my blorbo.
