I will not go on tumblr after this paper as i don't really like it, but it was a good new tool to be able to learn

I remember back at school that our friends meant the world to us and the closer we got to leaving school the more we would talk about how we need to stay in contact as much as we can once we have left and that we must stay friends forever. this is a thought that i think about often as these people that i hung out with everyday and saw most weekends were really important people in my life and they had a part in shaping who i am today. I always thought that we would be friends, but in reality i dont speak to any of the people i used to spend everyday with any longer. if i see them i will say hi and stop and chat but its just not the same as it used to be. we have all grown up and found new friends and people to spend our time with. I guess what i'm trying to say is our peers have such an impact on us in our teenage years that we will do anything to try and fit in, this is where peer pressure comes in and when some bad decisions are made. we make memories with these friends both good and bad, but i believe that theses years are the most crucial and we shouldn't be doing anything that makes us uncomfortable and that we regret later in life, because in reality you are probably not going to have the same group of friends you once had, so don't ruin your teenage ears by silly mistakes and peer pressure.

Smoking is a big health issue that is common among teenagers, I have never had this problem and will never take it up, but I know of young teenagers that are smoking because they think its "cool" do smoke with their mates, some of them even know it is bad for them but continue to do it anyway because they think that their mates will stop being their friends, but in reality if they were truly your mates they would not care if you smoked or not and would still be your friend. I am thankful that I have friends that do not smoke and if they do on occasion they never force anyone else to join in and respect our decisions.

I know it doesn't relate to this weeks topic of puberty, but I saw it, liked it and wanted to share it :)

Pimples were my biggest issue when I began puberty, no matter what I did I would always have them. when I got to 15 I found a cream that was just magic it was called bye bye spot, unfortunately they stopped selling it a few years later but lucky for me my pimple crisis was over at this point and I had good skin. I was always embarrassed to go to school when they were really bad.

  Im now 20 but when I was a little younger this was very true, mum would forever be "embarrassing" me but now im no longer embarrassed by her anymore... well there is the odd time it happens haha
