finally got off my ass and did the jupiter djinn redesigns.

i’m. not as happy with a few of these? i just had a real difficult time conceptualizing good, unique designs for these guys as opposed to the others.

whorl’s design is based off their JP name, suu, which is a japanese onomatopoeia for soft breathing, such as when someone’s asleep. so i made them look like a pillow wearing a lil sleeping cap

luff is designed after a sail boat. the “luff” is the leading edge on a sail

aroma is kind of patterned after wisp, since i wanted to do something designed around flowers.

blitz is a pun. they’re a reindeer because of blitzEN. anyways it’s the german word for lighting

wheeze/virus is meant to look like something that’d make it hard to breath if you inhaled it. so they’re all spiky and pointy

gasp/moribund is a lil ghost, or at least somethign that looks like they’re about to keel over

smog/smokey is kind of patterned after fog from my mercury djinn post

squall/elec is kind of based on the lightning bolts from disney’s hercules? like the stylized one on the medal that herc had

gale is kind of just a generic ‘windy’ design. this one was probably the hardest to get an idea for tbh. i kind of gave up on this one
