Bakugo had been known as a bully for most of his life. He had a rude mouth, a face that could contort to the nastiest of glares, and he really didn't seem to care about his impact on others.

Of course, as his girlfriend, you knew that wasn't true. Bakugo cares very deeply about his effect on others. He'd come a long way, and every day he was slowly learning more and more empathy.

This, however, did not stop him from bullying you daily.

"Oi, stop being a dumbass and do it right!"

"Shut up women, yer making my head hurt."

"And who is that supposed to help?"

Phrases like that were common, sometimes accompanied with a soft push or flick of the forehead. Instead of making you angry though, you felt a surge of affection every time.

You knew that when you tripped and he said, "Be careful, idiot," it was because he was worried. Or when you were crying and he would tell you to stop being a baby, meant he couldn't stand seeing any tears slip out of your eyes.

It was how Bakugo Katsuki showed he cared.

Even in bed, especially on those days he was particularly frustrated, after a long patrol or hard fight. He'd be touching you softly, leaving soft kisses along your face and neck, but his words were anything but.

"Bet you like when you go stupid on me huh?"

"Can't even get a word out now, talking so much shit before."

But it really didn't matter how much he "bullied" you, because the softer moments always overtook everything.

He always had the kitchen stocked with your favourite snacks, even when he complained about how you only ate junk. He would tell you to stop spending so much money and then put a new necklace on your vanity before he left for work.

Whenever he came home from hero work, he'd wrap his large arms around you and place kisses all over your face, smiling at your giggles.

So yes, Bakugo Katsuki did bully you, but only because he loved you more than anyone else.
