Some fuzzies made for holidays and birthdays!
Yes, the one monster is holding a neuron. Itâs detachable. :]
My family plays Chinese Checkers at the end of every year, and the little marbles as game pieces kill us each time, as most of our fingers lack the finesse that is apparently required to pick them up (they didn't mention that on the box!).
So, I made a larger board out of wood, and some cone-shaped pieces out of polymer clay. I would like to make a box for everything, but until then, I sewed little pouches to hold the pieces.
The wood was sanded, drilled, waterproofed (we drink when we play, so...), and fitted with rubber feet on the bottom. The polymer clay pieces were formed, baked, wet sanded four times, then sealed 2-3 times for a smooth & shiny finish! I used a lot of translucent and glittery clays, so the sanding and sealing make them sparkle lots!
Hereâs a sloth I sewed out of very furry fabric as a commissioned Christmas present! :3
Sewing with furry fabric sucks; its fur still haunts my life and also probably my lungs.
A grumpy ceramic mandrake made as a Christmas gift. Heâs a tiny vase! He can sit by himself or in a pot with some fake dirt.

Sandworm Christmas stocking I made as a Christmas gift. Hangable and the inner white one will hold all the gifts! :3

My school is trying to raise $90,000 for a new playground, as our current one is over 20 years old and not accessible for all of our students. Instead of the fundraising thermometer, I made a lion (our mascot) going across some monkey bars! To donate or for more information: https://edbacker.com/c/lions-play-with-pride--phase-1
Been meaning to paint my phone case for two years, but I just got these monster stickers in and slapped this cutie on there instead!
Theyâre in my online store if you want one too. :]đˇ
The series of prints that took me a year to carve (just worked on it on and off) and another year to print. Maybe in another year Iâll finally get them up in the store? Iâm so lazy!

I started carving a series of 4 monster printing plates a few years ago and I recently realized I never really properly pulled prints. One of them is not shown here.
âsteampunk styleâ white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland that I worked on for the last few weeksâŚmore pictures later this week (yes, of the Cheshire cat too).
I havenât done anything âsteampunkâ before, and I think the rabbit came out more cute when I wanted it to look just slightly creepy.
Some "mug rugs" of sea creatures for a swap. I was fine at sewing bias tape on clothes, but on these I am bias tape challenged. :/
Some painted plates for a friendâs housewarming gift. Theyâre things she likes, plus an inside joke. Also some âunloved creaturesâ painted on drinking glasses for a swap. Toads, blobfish, elephant seals, and bats!
Glass is hard to photograph!
Some new friends! Three of them have already found homes, hooray! :)
