It’s 3AM I’m hiding in the bathroom of my writer boyfriend’s house and I fear I may have caught this lettuce bacteria going around .. I’m listening to subliminal music for nausea relief and genuinely been throwing up for 2 hours. I don’t even got a place called home to go to right now… To set the scene- this is how I’m spending the last night in Los Angeles. Goodbye Los Angeles you will not be missed!

Jokes aside, Los Angeles you will be greatly missed. LA you were my childhood crush. Growing up, I would entertain myself with various forms of media all tying back to LA culture in some way. I’d have posters of you on my wall by my bunk bed. I would daydream about what it would be to be with you. Then in 2013 or 2014, we had a meet and greet. It was in the form of a trip where I got to see universal studios, chrome hearts Weho store, Vivienne Westwood store, Rodeo drive, and koreatown. As I started to get older, I started to tell my peers that I would be with you and they would laugh. Soon after, I was with you! My dreams came true. There is an unshakable admiration I will always have for LA that only a transplant can feel. There’s something that you can get from Los Angeles that only Los Angeles can provide( I’m not talking about an Erewhon smoothie). I think that something is different for everyone.

After nearly 5 years, I’ve realized our time had to come to an end. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye but I’ll always have feelings for you.
