“Haha! Though with all due respect - if I go down the road of science, I’d be doing you all a disservice, probably messing up a step away from a cure to cancer or somethin’.”

It’s the sudden transformation of the air into a more hospitable one that relaxes him. He was smiling like he already knew the lady beforehand, and the notion remains unsettled behind his lighthearted expression. It was still too early to smile considering….well, his schedule took precedence over his history, so at the very least, he only had like five minutes to complain about classes if he desired. 

His eyes flicker back to the juxtaposed lists, quickly running down the text for the correct classes he needed. Connie gasps for a moment, and a cautious finger quickly points out where his search had so quickly stopped.

“I gotta’ take this Physics here. Well, that and that Material Science class, wherever it is. I came in with credit for Chem, and when I registered on accident, they put my credit as an elective. Those- “

And of course he almost forgets whose presence he’s in. With a meek hand, he’s reduced to laughing at his own stupid visage, hoping that Professor Hanji doesn’t decide to kick him out of her office for that silly little slip. 

Hanji chuckled at that, nodding to his statement, science wasn’t everybody’s feat. She sat patiently while the student went through his timetable, a flicker of knowing flashed through her eyes, though she played it off that they must have crossed each other round the university. 

She sat back up when he started to point out the problems and where she has to try and straighten them out, a brow up again as he started to run off with a rant, glancing at him to see if he would stop.

“Right” Hanji nodded, blinking at him and pushing her glasses up, “So if we just register you in for these classes” she spoke, clicking her browser and logging into the system again. “If you’re doing physics we might bump into each other again” she chuckled, “But please make sure I don’t have anything in my arms next time” the professor added, doing all the corrections in front of Connie so he could correct her if needed.
