feel-good summer vibes for this lovebirds, and a tragic one it is, playing with a stark contrast between both paintings

This is my last painting of the year, it was fun to work on something as fluffy as this guy. Hope you like it, and have you all a wonderful Christmas Eve!

On the darkest day of the year, according to Scandinavian folklore, Sankta Lucia appear as a bearer of light.

I fell so in love with Lindsey’s look in her newest music video, and the song is just so amazing I had to do a painting of her. This is my take naturally as I made her actually undead..Hope you like it and I hope you had a great Halloween

This piece evokes that dark and tragic outcome of a bride left at the altar. I want to create a series of paintings to be sisters of my "Undead Bride" from mid-2020

The seiðmaðr was a male practitioner of witchcraft in Norse folklore. Compared to the völva, the Norse witch, there are few records of his practice. . Painting done for @drawtober 4th prompt.

1h study of “The Neon Demon” from a couple of months ago

I’ve done some movie frames studies, focusing on landing mood, values, colors, composition rather quickly (2hr tops) instead of rendering everything to perfection. I’ll be posting all the studies I’ve done, and all those I’ll do in the upcoming months.  Second picture show the actual frame (top) vs. my study (bottom)

The Countess . Last painting of the year. Done for an art challenge at the Lucidpixul discord, theme is “candy cane”. It was really fun and relaxing to work on this Rembrandt-style portrait with such a limited color palette
