It's a really amazing feeling. 

Today was amazing. Absolutely amazing. Took a day trip to Fort Collins, went tubing down the Poudre River with some amazing friends and handled the rapids like a champ, drank some wine riverside and enjoyed a beautiful sunset drive home with good company and good music and the most amazing scenery. This is what I moved to Colorado for. And I'm JUST SO HAPPY.

This was one of the best days of my life.

I got off of work yesterday afternoon and drove to Rocky Mountain national park, watched a whole bunch of elk graze in a field of wildflowers with the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, drank wine on the shore of a beautiful lake at sunset, camped out, went for a sunrise hike of Flattop Mountain which was incredible, drove trail ridge road, made friends with some hippie hitchhikers, and now I'm back in Denver in time for work tomorrow. I love living in Colorado.

Aka Cody spends all week pretending he's not gonna do karaoke at the dive bar across from trader joes and still does karaoke at the dive bar across from trader joes. Because making a fool of yourself in front of new friends is okay if they do it with you. And because this bar gives a buy one get one free drink deal to trader joes employees.
