Crumpled

The 12 of us worked on a huge mural project in a day it was nerve racking and exciting at the same time

With dreams shining in our eyes,

We imagined. 

Togetherness. Closeness. 

Friendship. Warmth. 

From the windows in our room we saw

The dreams. 

But the o clouds that haunt the dreams. 

All that shined through 

Was the distance

Miles and miles and miles. 

Isolated. Alone. 

Isolated? Alone? 

Let the inner vision open once more. 

Let the child dream of its perfect future once more. 

For all is together. 

For all is connected.

Let us see. Not look.
