Otherwise, I didn't like it for a few reasons. I appreciate the goal but I got bored and annoyed with lack of female expert representation, lack of interviews with actual addicts, and one lady who got divorced and kept saying she couldn't understand why the husband was up to such behavior cus she's not fat and ugly. Plus some of it was knowledge I would think any overanalyzer like me would already have thought of, so maybe I'm not the audience for this.

I dunno. If you're bored, give it a go I guess.

The simple answer is that it makes me feel safe and pure.

When I use babywash, baby shampoo, baby wipes, baby powder or baby lotion, I get this feeling that just for a little while, I’m pure and clean like I used to be when I was a baby.

When I see baby clothes, I think back on the time when I was small enough to wear them, how oblivious and peaceful I was while adults cooed at my little outfits and tiny features.

When I see baby toys, I think about how much I would’ve enjoyed them back then

When I see baby food, I think about how much I must’ve enjoyed eating them back then and even some to this day.

When I see nursery aesthetics, I think about how safe I must’ve felt in a diaper, in a little crib with soft blankets, pillows and stuffed animals around me

Just for a little while, I feel soft and innocent like a newborn baby.

Before I knew how bad things can be

Before I knew what it was like to be scared and hurt

Before I knew how unfair life can be

I enjoy babycore because it makes me feel safe.
