I know that like nobody cares, it’s interesting and why not etc etc if Ratio becomes zandar or whatever the hell but it will genuinely ruin my experience of him. I just want him to be a guy. Like, when we asked for more lore on him I didn’t mean this. And this is a completely subjective, personal take, but I might legitimately quit the game over this lololol. I understand twists and turns but to do it years after a character is released — which might have been done before in other games, I have no clue — is a bit. Hm. Conflicting for me and I don’t see it as a good decision, but my word hardly matters here, obviously. I could expand on why I don’t like it, but I’m not going to write a think piece about it because again, good for people that enjoy this potential new development. Just putting this out there before it happens — or, hopefully not — I guess

Ratiorine taking 1086 years to get together because they have crazy intimacy issues, are averse to touch, value their independence too much, have plenty of distractions to use as an escape, and are overall insufferable emotionally constipated men. I’m not projecting btw

I feel like it’s a popular interpetation that Aventurine is the (kinda?) more talkative one out of Aventiorine with the potential for more annoying quirks, but I love the idea that Ratio would talk to himself while he’s working on a project. With the rubber duck already being widely associated with him, it makes sense to infer that he finds it easier / more productive to think aloud and spot errors that way. So yeah, he talks / mutters all the time imo… but more so when he’s alone, or at home. Like it would genuinely be annoying. Though with his voice, probably attractive too. Whatever it evokes on a given day. Good luck Aventurine
