🍥 Anniversary Randomiser Event 🍥

hey, everyone! its coming up on our 4th anniversary of this blog, so we're doing a little event to celebrate. you all voted and decided on a randomiser event, and we're pretty excited.

for the uninformed, a randomiser event is pretty simple; you send in a character, and we randomise the theme and edit type. its a fun way to edit new things for us, and for you to receive edits you might not usually request. our sourcelist + blacklist still apply etc.

so, from now untiiiil, lets say the 3rd february, you can send "🍥" and any character (or fandom, if you'd like us to randomise the character too) and we'll make you a random edit.

So guess what chat, we got into 800 (801 atm) YAAAAYYYYY!! Ykw that means! PHYSICAL CHALLENGE- /ref

I already ran one with my super epic peak spectacular best friend phaexie but this time it’s only me (We’re still sigma dw) anyways

So, what are the rules?

1- It’s your average “day 1 edit this day 2 edit that” event (i didn’t thought of anything cooler sorry…)

2- Event starts at January 19 and ends at February 1, it’s long so people have chance to join and end on time

3- Any kind of edits are allowed!

4- Any fandoms are allowed too except on this list (link)

5- You need to do at least 5 prompts to get classified on the winner list, which means you can skip at least 2

6- @ me and tag ꒰ ┊✦ castodust event so i can find ur entry!

What are the prompts?

☆ - Day 1: Edit a creepy/off putting character or a character with a cute aesthetic!

☆ - Day 2: Edit your favorite Pokemon! Or if you were never into it your favorite childhood show critter/pet

☆ - Day 3: Edit a character that is from a popular media but you don’t often see edits of them!

☆ - Day 4: Edit a stellaron hunter from hsr or edit a darkner from deltarune! (Mandatory biased prompt)

☆ - Day 5: Edit any kin and any f/o together in the most out of place way possible! (Like each being from different medias, never interacting or different themes)

☆ - Day 6: Edit a character with vampire theme on them or a character with space/stars theme on them!

☆ - Day 7: Free day except include the original    Starwalker in your edit. Like edit anything just put him somewhere.

What are the prizes?

✦ 1st place: two tumblr themepacks (banner, icons, headers, divs and replycons), with the characters of your choice

✦ 2nd place: a rentry template or a tumblr layout, which type and which character is your choice

✦ 3rd place: web decor (stamps, userbars and userboxes), moodboard or rentry graphics, which type and which character is your choice

✦ And everyone who got on the winner list will get one rentry graphic with the character on your profile or one i see you like! (Cassi are you sure you can pull this off? I WANNA)

Responding like this to someone simply wanting credit for their work is insane. Abnormal even. Since common sense and critical thinking is non-existent here, I'll explain.

I want credit for the renders, not the art. Felt like this was obvious. Lots of time goes into it; it often results in me being in pain due to joint pain and strain on my wrist. Naturally, a link back to my post or even tagging me in the post itself is encouragement to continue doing them (plus, I love seeing what people use my renders in/for. I appreciate being directly tagged a lot!). If you're so against crediting, then don't use my renders. Make your own. People behaving like this are grossly underestimating what rendering is, it is not putting it in a background remover. I make MULTIPLE of these every day, it's something I enjoy doing, despite the intense pain it can and will bring.

No, I am not policing how you use my renders. I have never once said you can't use my renders for [x, y, z] and I have no idea what brought people to this conclusion. If it's my disclaimer saying not to tag any posts as "Kin/ID/Me" or "F/O," then I will say that only applies to MY posts -- I don't want people reblogging them and spamming the tags with that. It's annoying, I don't like it. On top of that, editblr has a weird thing about encouraging and indulging in others delusions, I want no part in that. Respect a simple boundary, not that hard. I don't care nor have any control in what you use the renders in or for beyond that.

Seeing people behave like this is seriously discouraging, I've considered leaving editblr as a whole, including praysia, over things like this. I won't ever deactivate praysia, but getting things like this often doesn't make me want to stay in such a community. It's seriously no wonder newer editors leave within a few weeks or months.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to just send in an ask, rather than flooding my inbox with insults and stupid messages about how you're happily going to disrespect me and the work I do. If you're going to do that, have some self-respect and keep it to yourself rather than making a fool of yourself.
