Things aren’t going as planned in this light-hearted Hayao Miyazaki watercolour sketch depicting his time working with Ghibli staff on Isao Takahata’s 1994 film Pom Poko. Miyazaki who was credited planning and executive producer roles comically portrays himself as the demanding taskmaster shown motivating animation staff drawn as Tanuki. Penned personally by Miyazaki this sketch featured in the Pom Poko official cinema program released with the film.  (a big Thank You to Rena for translation)
