He carries it quietly, like something fragile he’s afraid to mishandle.
Weeks would pass with him turning it over in his head, trying to figure out what the right way to handle it is.
And the thing is—you wouldn’t notice anything different.
He wouldn’t let you see the cracks, wouldn’t let his feelings interfere with how he treats you.
If anything, he’d become even more controlled, more careful.
Eventually, it builds to the point where he needs to let it out somehow.
So he goes to Master Splinter.
Not to ask what he should do—but just to say it somewhere safe.
