“Not reeeeeally.” Quinn grimaced as she stretched out the word, and looked down to where she fiddled with the hem of her dress. “I died, actually?” She looked up again, shrugged, and if her expression was more somber than she liked, she didn’t note it. “But... yeah. Humans are kind of stuck. We’re not really good with stuff from outside our plane.”

Ina nodded her head, and then shook it. She reached up, taking Quinn’s hand, and held it as tightly as she dared. She didn’t care that the girl was asking her questions, or that they were invasive, even. All Ina cared about was the fact that there was someone there with her. 

She cut herself off, finally, and with her free hand curled a lock of hair around her finger as she thought. “I’m headed to theater practice, so you can hang out there if you want. Plenty of light and people, usually, and I can get Jules to keep an eye on you?” More a question, than anything. I the girl didn’t want to go- hell, Quinn wasn’t going to force her.

A psychic human? This was new to him. He didn’t know what she was capable of and she seemed quite afraid. So for his own safety and her comfort, he reached his hand out slowly, non-threateningly, before softly shaking her hand. “I’m Cinna Karim. So… A psychic, huh?”

“Um, yeah.” Quinn felt almost like she was going to laugh- This is my life now!- but what little of a smile that had begun to show dropped as she lowered her hand. “There was... a dead guy, I guess. The man who couldn’t breathe. And- And a lot of stuff happened, but I’m still alive, and now I see weird shit!” She actually did laugh this time, breathless from the way her words had rushed out. “Sorry, I’m still getting used to this.”
