it sounded a little bit complicated, but not too hard. they could surely figure it out. delphi grinned, peeking out behind corvus, eyeing the dye boxes. life was about doing things that made you happy, and blue hair would make them both happy, right ?
â come on, corvus ! â she said, giggling and putting her hands over her mouth, bouncing on her toes from the excitement. â itâll be so wizzo ! it makes sense, right ? your hair is dark, so you use these dyes and then your hair will be blond, like mine. and then you can put the blue in it ! it can be a tiny strip, if you want, so you wonât get in trouble if it goes terribly wrong. â
delphi, on the other hand, was willing to risk her entire head of hair, because why not ? if it wenttoo too too badly, the worst thing that could happen is that sheâd end up with no hair. and if that happened, she was sure mummy could do something with her potions.
â letâs get it ! the faster we can get it, the quicker we can go dye it. letâs gooooo ! â
It did make sense, considering it from an art perspective. There was no way blue paint would take to a black canvas, not without a spell or potion. Muggles had simply developed a potion that would change the canvas itself, stripping his hair back to a lighter colour. Curious. So curious. Muggles were so interesting.
âI didnât think muggles could make potions,â he muttered, screwing up his face slightly.
Corvus let out a chuckle at Delphiâs excitement, shaking his head but obliging. How could he say no to his little sister when she was so excited? He hadnât seen a smile on her face like this for ages.
âOk, letâs grab it,â he said, taking the boxes to the counter and paying for it. They had to hurry anyway, who knew when their mum would be back from work.
