so a couple months ago I got called into the owner's office because my annoying coworker sent him a big long email complaining that I was being mean to her (untrue, she just couldn't handle me pushing back on things she was trying to make us do that were stupid)
the owner told me that this needed to stop or else one or both of us was getting fired. she did this the night before going to australia for two weeks, but presumably he told her the same thing when she got back. I thought that would scare her into stopping this ridiculous "tattling to teacher" thing she does
well today one of my other coworkers came to me and said SHE had just been called into the owner's office because annoying coworker had sent him a long email claiming that she was being hostile and threatening (apparently referencing an incident that happened like a year ago) because she had confronted her about the fact that she never lifts a finger to help anyone else and pawns her work off onto other people who are busier than her. this coworker told the owner the annoying coworker was lying lol
I don't get how this girl doesn't understand how unpopular she's making herself and how immature she is that she reacts in this way instead of talking to the person she has the problem with. she can't possibly think that doing this makes her look good. everyone coddles her because she has anxiety but it's really fucking annoying because we all have problems and we don't use that as an excuse. when we were still friends I didn't coddle her anxiety because it isn't a kindness to her to do so. anyway it's funny to me because she's just making herself look bad and proving that she's actually the common denominator of the problems around here and it makes me worry less that the owner is going to decide that I'm the problem just because annoying coworker lied about ME. I don't think he cares who's right and who's wrong as long as people aren't fighting, but it validates what I told him at least. I don't know why he enables her, he needs to tell her that she's an adult with a big-girl job and she needs to quit doing this.
this is the type of stuff you expect from middle schoolers in a group project. Had a very similar experience in 6th grade on a science project where this 1 kid in our group (3 people) claimed we were bullying her when we were just begging her to do her part. Genuinely 12 year old behavior.

yeah she's trying to set me up to fail. she convinced the manager to give me an increased workload while also convincing him to formally put into writing that no one is allowed to help me. meanwhile she passes her work off to others and doesn't help at all. I'm writing a long email to the manager telling him that I will not be signing off on the document that says this because the expectations are literally impossible to meet (and I wasn't consulted at all, which has also been an ongoing problem, she will make decisions about my workflow without talking to me and then if I object to something she complains that I'm being uncooperative)
when I was gone it took 5 people to cover my job and the manager literally told me it was my responsibility to have prepared ahead of time for the TWO WEEKS I WASN'T EVEN THERE even though that would have literally been impossible. like he actually said that even when I'm not there it's still my responsibility alone.
