Felix is buzzing with excitement as he opens the oven door. Everything is set for games night; the games are set out in the living room, punch is mixed and prepped with markers for people to claim their cup, and now his famous brownies are ready for his guests to enjoy. Felix loves cozy gatherings and big groups alike, so games night seemed like the perfect idea.
He invited pretty much every person he could think of to games night, wanting to be surrounding by friends and new faces like the social butterfly he is. Still, he isn’t sure who will be able to make it given the late notice and can’t wait for people to arrive.
Luckily, he didn’t have to wait too long because as he finishes plating his brownies on the platter, there is a knock at the door. He quickly tosses his apron into the corner and checks his reflection in the mirror. His hair is still neat but there’s a bit of batter on the corner of his mouth from licking the spatula. Oops.
A quick wipe on the back of his hand and he’s ready to greet his first guest. He rushes to the door and greets his the newcomer with wide smile. “You made it! Come on in.”
He helps them shrug off their coat and places it in the closet for safe keeping before walking them inside. “Brownies just finished so you get the honor of first pic. Care for a drink? I’ve got a pomegranate and pear punch, and some soju if you’re looking to really let lose.”

mingi’s schedule allowed him for a night off. the only thing on their group’s agenda was the japanese single that would soon release. that was why mingi wasted no time in attending felix’s party. the two had always gotten along, and he was a fun guy to be around that mingi thought he owned it to his friend to show even if it was for a couple of hours. he quickly brushed the comb through his hair to maintain the whisks that managed to stick out. once he finished getting slightly prepared, he was on his way out.
half of him was tempted to send felix a message that he would arrive shortly but figured that surprising was always the best way to show up. it didn’t take long before mingi’s driver parked outside of felix’s place, and the idol was on his way upstairs when he finally knocked when he arrived.
“i should arrive earlier more often,” mingi said with a smile once the mention of brownies was mentioned. “i’ll go for pear punch. i’ll slowly work my way to soju. i don’t want to be the first one to get tipsy.”
