On this day June 26, 2026, 17 years ago at 2:26 PM the world would never see this beautiful soul again, and our angel would not open his eyes again.
Death is truly a strange thing. And itβs human for this wound to open up a little bit especially on this day, itβs human to miss him like you knew him personally. But I want to gently remind you of a few things, Michael never left, his legacy and name will never be forgotten. He lives inside of all of us, itβs like a little Michael light that continues to shine as long as you let it. He didnβt leave, he simply took a long break. A long break that he wonβt come back from, but the break he needed to take. Continue to play his songs today, read his books, draw pictures of him, but donβt let yourself sink in the sadness, thatβs not what he wouldβve wanted, he wouldβve wanted all of us to remember his name with the upmost love in our heart. He wouldβve wanted us to use his music be a safe space, and him be a safe space. Not a space where we feel so overtaken by grief that we canβt listen to it without it hurting, so never lose track of that light inside of you. We are the generation he tried so desperately to protect and advocate for. He believed that with love, we could all come together and strive. Now we must remind the world of his message. We are his soldiers of love and he spent his whole life wanting to protect us. Now itβs time for us to protect his name and legacy.
Although itβs been 17 years since he last opened his eyes, Michael continues to shine his light on the world. Thatβs so desperately needs it. He continues to save lives, change, lives, and provide comfort to those who need it.
There is truly something special about him, something that no other artist has ever achieved. He was an outstanding singer, a exquisite dancer, but more than being the king of Pop, he was a humanitarian. Throughout the course of his career, he donated millions and millions of dollars to charity. And he changed so many childrenβs lives.
The impact that Michael Jackson has on the world is mind blowing. In 1989, he was causing people to faint, pass out, scream, cry, at just the sight of him. Now in 2026, people have passed out, screamed, cried, broke down over him in the Michael biopic.
I truly believe Michael was an angel sent from above, so with that,
Dear Michael:
Angels donβt belong on earth, but thank you for trying. I love you sweet boy.
ποΈfly high applehead, never stop shining your light, the world needs it more than ever right now.
