Life couldn't get better

Kim Manners was there [directing], and I was so confused at that point that I didn’t trust my feelings about it because I had so many personal feelings. It was eight years of my life. I didn’t know what would be an appropriate ending. I didn’t know. And when Kim and I read it as we were about to shoot it, he said, ‘We’ve done that 100 times, the whole hand holding and the kiss on the forehead. Let’s do a real kiss.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, that feels right.’”

“The last shot in the picture was Gillian handing David the baby in her bedroom. David leaned over and gave her a kiss, and the camera then pulled back out of the doorway and just kept going down the hall. We got the shot, and we cut it and printed it; the nurse came and took the baby away. And David put his arms around Gillian, and she put her arms around him, and they stood there for about ten minutes, and never said a word to each other. The tears were just rolling down their faces, and the whole crew stood there and watched this in silence. It was truly one of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever witnessed in my life.”

how do you think it would’ve went if maggie had had a chance to see/meet william for the first time in 15 years

“The second-to-last-day, when I shot my last scene with Gillian, was very emotional and very sad. I really hadn’t pondered the weight of eight years coming to a close until I was in the middle of the scene and realized that this would be the last time I was going to do Mulder and Scully on the show. It was sad and very heavy, but not depressing. It was an acknowledgement of a lot of time, effort and love.

Gillian is distracted by everything. Her shiny lips, her tight pants, whether or not she’s wearing boots in a scene.

David announces when Gillian shows up in a scene. “Here you come!”

She is so proud of Piper and David agrees with everything she says. “There’s only one Piper, really.” :’)

David talks about whistling Dixie through his butthole and Gillian says she sings backup.

There are long moments of silence and David reminds Gillian when she hasn’t said anything in awhile.

David got very excited when Scully said “Mulder it’s me”

David says “this’ll be funny” before anything funny happens.

The gasp Gillian lets out at the speedo scene.

How much they ship Mulder and Scully even in creepy motel room scenes.

Sometimes they just laugh and that’s it. No commentary is included. It’s just giggles. 

Gillian wants Mulder to kiss everyone.

Gillian doesn’t feel sorry for anyone’s costume issues ever.

They laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME someone says “blood out of eyeballs” … every single time.

David is excited for the sex scene and mentions it twice but the SILENCE AND HEAVY BREATHING through the actual scene are… something else. David laughs through it. Gillian’s disturbed.

They apologize numerous times for not talking and want Darin to take it as a compliment, that all they want to do is watch it.

The X-Files ringtone CONFUSED THE FUCK OUT OF BOTH OF THEM. “What?” “WHAT?” They refuse to believe that was an actual part of the show. “Can’t be.”

David: “What is this Scully is immortal stuff? I don’t understand.” Gillian: “I think it has something to do with William. I dunno, someone told me, I forgot.”
