Aconite’s Swan surprises Jamie at latest fan meet!

Lovemi & Buttercups have been left swooning after Jamie’s latest fan meet when an unexpected guest appeared to show support for Han. Jamie was just as shocked as Lovemi when Swan (from girl group @fy-aconite) showed up at the meeting and gave her good friend a tight hug. The two have known each other for quite some time after meeting last year when they were promoting at the same time. Since then they have been reportedly close friends though fans do not often get to see this interaction due to often conflicting schedules.

Jamie holds showcase for Stars and reveals surprises for Lovemi!

Han’s showcase marks the beginning of her promotions for her album as well as the end of her long 9 month hiatus. Earlier she had announced that she would be revealing special surprises for Lovemi who had been waiting patiently and eagerly for her return. During the MC she first revealed that her official fandom, “Lovemi” would be opening for the 2nd generation of members. Applications will be allowed to be sent in up until September 1.

Her second surprise is that she will be holding a raffle in which the prize winner will receive an autographed album along with an autographed poster. Fans will be able to enter the raffle via Han’s fancafe! Those who enter, even if they don’t win, will also receive tickets to a private fan meet and greet. (The raffle has a limit to how many people can enter so you should be quick!)

The third surprise had many fans in the audience expressing confusion as Han announced she would be holding a solo concert after the promotion period of Stars was over. This caused fans to be worried as Han has already announced and canceled a solo concert twice in the past. However, in response to the audience Jamie playfully pouted and said, “This time it’s for real, I promise!”

Despite the previous announcements that Han had made, it was the fourth and final surprise that had fans screaming and jumping out of their seats. Jamie announced a special guest had come for the showcase and was revealed to be none other than Yeori (@ccreepri), a former member of Creep. Jamie has known to be a big fan of Creep and once even shared a label with them. It didn’t stop there as the two began to perform Creep’s track, Chase Me. Han had previously released a cover of the song as a pre-release to her actual solo debut. The collaboration stage brought back tears to many eyes in the audience as it gave them a good amount of nostalgia.

Jamie’s first full-length album has officially been released!

Han is officially back to take over the music industry. This album marks the first time fans have been able to hear Jamie rap in her track, “Singing in the Rain”. During her time training for a duo group late last year, Han stated that the two members had to focus on rapping since neither of them had any prior training in that division. Singing in the Rain was meant to be the final song in her trilogy but was scrapped last minute as her new group disbanded predebut. They then decided to go with New as the final song in the trilogy. However, they felt it was perfect for the album and was the first track to be added in the expansion from mini album to album.

The album itself is perfect for the summer days and shows off a fresh side to Han, opposite that of what was previously seen in her solo work. In addition to her own vocals, her tracks have also featured the rapper 13 and former idol/now actor, Haejun. Lovemi have shown positive responses to Han’s album and have expressed that they enjoy this new concept.

U-SIK DAYDREAM SINGLE ALBUM HAS BEEN RELEASED

After a small hiatus of two months, MOUNT record’s soloist U-SIK has released two new songs: DAYDREAM and FIRST ft. Jamie, a former singer that U-SIK himself has said to be a close friend of. 

For this comeback, the soloist has expressed his content on these two new songs, also have been throwing hints that may have written more songs while he composed these two. An official statement for his album has been announced on his official page: “DAYDREAM single album is finally ready to be bought online and on stores, pre-ordered albums carry a surprise with them. We hope all fans enjoy the songs everyone worked hard on.” Fans with pre-ordered albums have been able to receive it today and many have been grateful for U-SIK’s kind gesture: a Polaroid picture of himself with a small writing, roughly translated to “thank you for buying it (the album). I love you, please support Woosik in a future, too. ♡” 

Once again, we are all thankful for his great work and passion on his songs, the singer has kept all of us updated on the progress through his Instagram stories.

Jamie holds showcase for her second mini album, “New Life”.

Han has been on hiatus from the industry since October and has recently signed with a new label, “Moon Empire”. The label almost immediately announced that Han would be continuing with her comeback plans for December. Fans were not disappointed when Han released her second mini album, “New Life” on December 3.

With the news of her album release, Moon Empire also stated that Jamie would be announcing her future plans with the company during her first mini concert on December 8. Han also co-wrote the lyrics to the tracks: Dreamcatcher, Tomorrowland and Ocean View. Moon Empire and Han have also confirmed that the album is a followup to Han’s previous releases.

During the showcase Han talked about her personal struggles as her parent’s 9th year death anniversary has just passed and the suicide of her best friend and former group mate - Jaeun.

Happy Birthday, Liam!… To BUZZ?

In an interesting way of celebrating his own birthday, Liam, along with Chandler, have put together a quick cover of Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Put Your Records On” for BUZZ to enjoy. 

Liam noted that it was a gift to himself—not only did he have fun putting it together, but he couldn’t wait to show the fans his talent, too!

Jamie uploads cover of “Valerie”

In August of 2017, Han announced her hiatus from the industry. All activities were halted and upcoming performances were cancelled. In addition to this she also parted ways with company, Crown Empire. While she has resigned with C9 Media since then she has only made a few appearances to the public as a special guest. She also has not updated her instagram or social media accounts since her announcement of hiatus. This is the first time she has broken her silence on the web with a cover of Valerie by Amy Winehouse.
