Truth be told, Hadley felt like shit when she got out of bed that morning, and not just because of the massive dark cloud that hung over her head. As she scrambled to find clothes that made her look halfway presentable, flashes of last night’s memories flickered through her head, her mother calling, Zack calling, Amanda calling, all of them leaving her bitter and sour and not wanting to do anything but drink lots of alcohol. And that’s what the blonde did. Did she regret it now? Mostly. But either way, a bad thing somehow got good when she got a breakfast date with an old friend, Jordyn. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, Hadley sort of was a P.O.S.H fan, mostly because of her friend, and although it made her feel creepy, it was as if the music made her feel like she was 13 again and Abby’s words had yet to turn her sour. It made much more sense in her mind.

Settling for a white tank top and pair of shorts, the blonde dutifully ran a brush through her hair, only bothering to conceal the dark circles under her eyes. She slid her sunglasses over her eyes and her flip flops onto her feet as she gathered her purse together, hoping that she didn’t look like she felt – complete shit. Leaving her apartment, Hadley hoped into her car and drove towards Jordyn’s, getting there within ten minutes. The ride to her felt like the longest thing in the world, as the entirety of last night came back to her mind, but she pushed those feelings away, knowing that with enough force, they’d leave her for a few hours.
