Oh, oh yeah, we're changing a lot. but also, not that much, as their dynamic relies on that gameplay loop Pressure had. Its letting me write a story based on the game and all the other games and medias in a similar genre that I like, and allow me to come up with new things instead of trying to fit into a pre-written narritive that I really don't like (like how they said it only took Sebastian two days to escape the blacksite- like. no? Or trying to explain the file system. Or this. or that. yknow)

So, its still them, but also not. Im trying to give it a personality of its own, leaning more into sci-fi so that crazier things like "jet engine-powered submarines" are more plausible (they dont. exist in my story. theres a different way of travelling that far underwater. and anyway, they're not even on earth anymore, so we're dealing with much more heavy-handed fantastical themes here).

Keeping it underwater too, because I like the ocean setting and want to work with it in my own way, and I like ocean aliens/monsters. And space fucking rocks. I love space. Im putting them in an unfathomably large and deep ocean IN SPACE. on a ROGUE PLANET. in a (fictional) VOID POCKET a fair bit away from our galaxy. (cuz humanitys like, gone to space and started living on other planets and like . ya. ya. a post for another time. its a very loose space setting as the focus is really only on this one planet in particular and then this company that exploits it (along with the rest of the universe)) Space, is so cool. I love space.
