An update

So in my last post I said that I would probably come back in a year and hinted in the tags that I needed to finish my thesis etc. So...

This weirdo has a PhD now!

However, instead of having endless amounts of more time after getting that done, I ended up starting in a new job a week after my dissertation day and moved to a different country! As a result, majority of my drawings are several hundreds of kilometers away, as is my drawing tablet. Puts a small spoke in the wheel haha...

But I refuse to start coloring with a mouse #Not that I have crazy amount of time for drawing anyway #Difficult to find motivation for it too because of stress and the general darkness that comes with living in a nordic country #besides i feel like i lost the spark for drawing i have had since a kid a few years ago #i don't know how or why #and i have no idea how to get it back either

#I have to finish my thesis this year soooo #I don't expect to have much time until then #plus I have other hobbies than editing pictures #I haven't really done digital art in yeeaars #last year I found out that it's still nice #but getting the tablet out is a hassle bc my table is small and my tablet is HUGE #I should try to post other things I've done in between but I struggle constantly with this voice in the back of my head #that says that no one is interested and that I suck #Plus I try to live more in the moment and enjoy what I get!#And not focus on what I could post for the enjoyment of random people on the internet

I wasn't sure about this one but it turned out pretty nice in the end! The light in the picture happened almost by accident. Also, I know Al-An's head is wrong, I just didn't have a 3D model of him in 2021.

I found that paper in the sketchbook I used in 2021 was thick enough to handle BOTH watercolor and acrylics so I obviously tested it out. Didn't end up doing much though.
