Colored filters on flood lights make me go ga ga

Yaacov Agam relief with two images projected on opposite sides of triangle shaped extrusions. As you walk from one side to the other you see one image, a mixture of the two and then the other image. Looking at it head on is kind of like one of those rotating billboard ads at Disney.

I really like this ramp

The hallway in the last photograph is my favorite spot on the interior. The wall on the left is painted a brilliant blue but the one on the right is white with a skylight letting in a flood of light. All the color you see is just reflected. It’s magical.

Since the majority of the original photographs of the Villa Savoye are in black and white and since Modernism has such a monochromatic tendency, it is fun and delightfully surprising to see peaks at the colors that Le Corbusier cleverly used throughout the villa.
