KONAMI has announced the shutdown of WBSC eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball on 31 March 2026. Powerful Pro originally released for 100 yen on 9 February 2023 as an accessible baseball game for Switch and PlayStation. Powerful Pro will remain playable through an offline mode, but will be delisted on 30 January 2026.

Amazon has announced the shutdown of New World: Aeternum on 31 January 2027. Sales of New World have been pulled from every platform, though microtransaction sales will continue until 20 July 2026. Aeterum originally launched as New World on 28 September 2021 - known for being riddled w/ severe bugs and extreme breakages - before getting rebranded for the console release on 15 October 2024. New World will have been online for a little over 5 years.

COLOPL has announced the shutdown of Isekai∞Isekai and its message board BBS on 27 April 2026. Isekai∞Isekai will get an offline model, bromide, and image viewer alongside the alarm clock function on the same day. Isekai∞Isekai released on 27 January 2025 and will have survived for a year and three months.

COLOPL has announced the shutdown of Tsukuyomi the Divine Hunter on 22 April 2026. Tsukuyomi was COLOPL's "AI" game that used Kaneko Kazuma's likeness for sales and plot. The app originally released on 6 May 2025 to negative reviews. An offline version as well as Switch adaptation will be released, though all of the "AI" assets will still be used.

Aquaplus has announced the shutdown of Utawarerumono Lost Flag on 23 April 2026. Lost Flag will have survived for 6 years and 5 months before getting axed, having originally released on 26 November 2019.

Wildlight has announced the shutdown of Highguard on 12 March 2026. Highguard launched on 26 January 2026 to middling reception across the board and was thought of as an immediate failure. Player numbers dwindled to about a thousand a day by the middle of February, around the time that Wildlight laid off most of its staff. Highguard will have been online for 46 days before getting axed.

Namco has announced the shutdown of Boku no Hero Academia ULTRA IMPACT on 18 May 2026. ULTRA IMPACT originally released in 2021 and will have survived for 5 years before getting the plug pulled.

CyGames has announced the shutdown of Shadowverse on 1 July 2026. Shadowverse originally launched on 17 June 2016 and launched the card game series into popularity. The app will have ran for just over a decade.

Square Enix has announced the shutdown of WAR OF THE VISIONS Final Fantasy Brave Exvius on 28 May 2026. WoTV, released 14 November 2019, will have survived for 6 years before getting axed. Square has confirmed there will be no offline mode.

Krafton has announced the shutdown of PUBG: Blindspot on 30 March 2026. Blindspot, a multiplayer clone of Hotline Miami, will have been online for a month and 25 days before getting the axe.

Odd Number has announced the shutdown of Link! Like! Love Live! on 30 June 2026. Link! Like! Love Live! Will have survived for just over three years, having originally released in early access on 15 April 2023.

MY.GAMES has announced the shutdown of Warface: Clutch, formerly known as Warface on 27 May and 25 August 2026. Warface, originally a Crytek developed MMO for the Korean market, launched in early access in April 2012 and will have survived for 14 years. There will be no offline mode.

MY.GAMES has announced the shutdown of extraction shooter HAWKED on 9 June and 7 September 2026. HAWKED will have survived for two years, having released on 15 February 2024. There will be no offline mode.

TOHO Games and Edelweiss have announced the shutdown of 「天穂のサクナヒメ～ヒヌカ巡霊譚～」on 27 July 2026. Hinuka was supposed to be the app that turns Tensui no Sakuna-hime from an indie game to a major "IP". The app was released on 5 February 2026 and will have survived for 5 months and 22 days.

IAC shut down Ask.com, formerly Ask Jeeves, on 1 May 2026. Ask Jeeves, originally released on 1 June 1997, was a famous search engine and Q&A website, though like most other search engines, got drowned by Google's search monopoly. Ask Jeeves will have been online for 28 years before getting axed.

Donuts has announced the shutdown of 「Tokyo 7th シスターズ」on 12 August 2026. Tokyo 7th Sisters will have survived for 12 years, having originally released in 2014. This shutdown comes months after the discontinuation of Tokyo 7th Sisters' NFTs. There will be an offline mode and concerts until at least 2027.

Hololive and Cover have announced the shutdown of HoloEarth on 28 June 2026. HoloEarth, a "metaverse" MMO dedicated to Hololive Virtual YouTubers, originally released on 24 April 2025 after spending around 3 years in very limited public alpha stages. The "metaverse experience" will have survived for a year, two months, and four days before getting axed.

2K has announced the shutdown of LEGO 2K Drive's multiplayer servers on 31 May 2027. 2K is also delisting 2K Drive and its DLCs on 19 May 2026. LEGO 2K Drive, originally released on 18 May 2023, will have been online and purchaseable for 3 years.

EA shutdown Real Racing 3 on 20 March 2026. Real Racing 3, originally released on 28 February 2013, will have survived for 12 years before getting the plug pulled.

Square Enix has announced the shutdown of the Kingdom Hearts Cloud Version series for Nintendo Switch on 9 June 2027. Square has shutdown and delisted these titles in favour of releasing them for full price on Nintendo Switch 2, w/ save data transfer and a half-off discount available to anyone who owned and used the Cloud versions. The original Switch will receive a full price offline port of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Final Mix w/ save transfers and a half-off discount available soon. The Cloud versions of the Kingdom Hearts series will have lasted 5 years, having originally released on 10 February 2022.

The app will finish the original game's story on the 3rd Anniversary date, as well as add a piecemeal version of Before Crisis throughout July and August. The app will have survived for three years and one month.

Nintendo has announced the shutdown of Mario Kart Tour on 30 September 2026. Mario Kart Tour originally released on 25 September 2019 and will have survived for 7 years and 5 days.

GungHo has announced the shutdown of Disney Pixel RPG on 30 September 2026. The game will have survived for just under two years, having released on 7 October 2024.
