“Yeah, it took some time to get used to, but it kind of made me realize what I was missing out on. And my sis… Yeah, she can be a handful sometimes, but honestly, she’s cool. We’re just one not-so-big satisfactory family.”

She lightly chuckled into her hands. “Well, I’m glad things are working out well for you. I’m sure it’s a welcome change.”

She watched Sun bounce around, sighing and shaking her head. “He’s as goofy as ever but... I missed that. Jerk ran off after Blake without telling us so we were separated without a way to contact him until just recently.”

“Oh, please, as if I could ever forget you, especially with that cute face.” He flashed her a smirk.

“But yeah, it’s good to see you too. A lot has happened…and I’m sure you’ve heard of my new situation.”

“I see you’re the same charmer, if nothing else.” she retorted, nodding as she lightly chuckled.

Mercury figured that word was spreading about him being adopted, but he chose not to say anything as speculation continued to float around people’s heads. It was quite entertaining.

He glanced up and smiled as he saw a familiar cute face. “Oh, hey Neptune. What’s up?”

“You remember my name.” she commented, seemingly impressed. “I wasn’t sure you were going to bother... that and quite a lot has been happening since the last time we spoke.”

The tallest member of team SSSN glanced over but didn’t do anything as Neptune separated from her team and walked over. Sage trusted his teammate to handle herself.
