This is a video a couple of us fans put together for your birthday to show you our support and thank you for everything you do. We hope you have a wonderful day! 

Hello my dear Mendelhomies! I know this message is late compared to previous years, but we are going to do things a little differently this time around. Instead of our usual collection of messages and fanart, we are coming together to make one birthday video. It’s Ben’s 50th birthday, so I thought we’d make it special!

Here’s the idea:

Send me a picture of you holding a happy birthday sign, or record a video message of max. 30 seconds

If you don’t want to show your face, just send me a picture of your sign! Or let your pet/plant/stuffed animal hold it :D

Your sign can say anything you want, as long as it’s readable and SFW

Go nuts with your sign and/or video message: drawings, handlettering, digital art (MS Paint definitely counts!) tons of glitter, cosplay, just do your thing!

Hopefully by the end we’ll have a lovely video! I will post it here, as well as send it to Ben on instagram.
