Time to change passwords, it seems. I’ve been busy with food and work (which also involves food) and I’ve been completely neglecting this blog lately. Thank you to @hirokiyuu for bringing it to my attention! Have some of my food photos to make up for the cgi that got reblogged!

One is a smoked salmon bagel from an event I went to recently and the other is a white pizza with pear, walnut, sausage and arugula that I made at work.

This was actually quite a fun exercise. Although I feel like a much smaller size would have forced me to think more about pixel placement. I’ll probably try this again in a month’s time with like...half the size, maybe.

Starting off 2016 with the resolution to do some drawings with actual substance to them and not just doodling randomly.

I use this colour a lot because it happens to be the one I have pinned to my palette for rough sketches. Also I’ve always wanted to draw something more painted and less structured without doing any kind of sketch beforehand (in the end I still ended up using layers and then merging them all and blending the ever-loving-heck out of them so does this even count as painted??)

It suddenly occurs to me that this could almost be short-haired Michiru, oops.

Something I drew a long, long time ago but then never posted because I was like: I SHOULD DRAW RIDA TOO. As you can clearly see, that didn’t end up happening.
