‘100 Years of Acton High School’
An exhibition to celebrate the history of Acton High School since its foundation in the early 1900s held on 10th July 2013.
The school owes its creation to local people’s efforts to improve conditions for the growing number of young people in Acton over a century ago. They were aided by the then Borough of Acton. Our Headteacher, Dr Andy Sievewright, said the exhibits ‘sum up both how much the school has changed and how much it still serves its community in the same way - by bringing people together to learn.’
