i log in to pinterest and the first thing i see is a photo of chris cornell.

it makes me so happy.

i click on it to see a larger version and it turns out it’s been restored.

chris cornell isn’t chris cornell anymore. it’s some other guy claiming to be chris cornell to me.

i’m more excited by a blurry photo of chris from ’89 than by the restored ’89 photo with a face that’s trying to come close to his beauty. enough already.

I've never considered this ship until I got commissioned to draw these two old/now(?) and in their youth. I really liked the idea that the commissioner outlined (for the poses and general demeanor) because it gives a sort of "had a fling back in the day" vibes, and now she can NOT stand his ass.

ALSO, I cannot help but see a resemblance to Kieran and Marybeth in the second drawing. I swear I did not do this on purpose, but I feel like they could narratively work like parallels to them (mostly due to Grimshaw's various remarks about youth and beauty to Marybeth and the other gals but perhaps something to do with Kieran being obviously tied to the O'driscolls is worth mentioning as well).
