Backstory/history:

Female Satyrs are already a rarity in her home plane, but Dalia was truly a strange one. She enjoyed the festivities and parties at an early age, that the moment she was able at the adult age of 50, she left her home and started traveling with whatever she could swipe on the way from the “community” bank.

Starting on her journey, she traveled from town to town, laughing and performing, seducing and heart breaking all sorts of races. She somehow picked up the title of Demoness along the way, but she is sure it is because of few could resist the charms she used.

In the 2 years since she left, she has visited quite a few places, gained a name for herself and saw how the famous dancers had it made. Free to travel where they please, get to see all sorts of people and rarely making enemies? That sounded like the life for her. She figures becoming famous will help her finally find the one true love of her life and she can potentially settle down, start a family, be a mom. The ever hopeless romantic.

Though, while her ultimate dream is to become famous, she will never let herself be turned away from her belief that no matter how you show off your craft, it is always from a place of honesty and shows you as a person and how your present yourself, not the false flashy presentations that she has noticed some people put on. It still bugs her that some entertainers have lost that along the way, but she will stick to it, even if she has to do some not so legal things to keep that ideal.

RP Sample:

Dalia was happily showing off her skills for a crowd that had gathered around her. She was a rare sight being a female satyr and one so elegant in her moves. She had placed a cloth across her chest to cover up and her hula hoop was in her hand. 

She spun her hula hoop around her and smiled as she danced for the crowd. Soon, she had started to notice the little box she had gathered quite a bit of coin. Even a few letters of admiration. She was going to have a lot to sort through when she was done.

Backstory/history: Being from the continent Draconia, Delphi is the 30th in line to be the head of her clan; as such, she was one to study and create. She became enthralled with the history of her grand city and her people and learned many things about them and soon turned towards more old texts, and learned something… Interesting.

Delphi would take up a hermetic life, doing plenty of research from library to library within Draconia before going to a harshly cold temple in the North only to learn something extraordinary. She came to the land of the Green Sun to learn and grow and maybe find more ties to her research.

RP Sample:

“When that storm comes, don’t run from cover,” she’s only a beginner bard, the dragonborn chopping herbs as she hums along with the rumbling thunder above her.

“When that storm comes, don’t run from cover,” the book laid out before her is detailed in Draconic - just what she needs for this, and Delphi continues.

“When that storm comes, don’t run from cover,” another candle lit, the silver and white illuminating her blue scales so elegantly. Too far to be of service to her clan, but at least her scales are pretty.

“Don’t run from the comin’ storm ‘cause there ain’t no use in runnin’.” Another strike, this time flint and steel into her cauldron where the sand holds those dried herbs she sprinkled in. It smokes, heavy and thick with scent and she breathes it in, waiting.

“When that rain falls, let it wash away,” the dragonborn draws the sigils in chalk along the wooden beams of the basement. She has a few minutes before midnight. The mirror between the beams illustrates Delphi with light, silken robes.

“When that rain falls, let it wash away,” the smoke is filling her lungs, flexing her fingers, she must keep herself grounded as she lights the last two candles at the head of the altar.

“When that rain falls, let it wash away,”a flash of lightning, the rumbling almost shakes the basement and Delphi almost laughs as before her, the mirror becomes a portal, and she takes another breath.

“Let it wash away, that falling rain, the tears and the troubles.”

Backstory/history: Sebastian is a young noble from a family far to the north of the guild, his whole family consisting of people like him with long rabbit ears, and cute little tails, though mostly human in nature. He was always a little shit growing up, playing pranks on the various staff (Never to any extremes though.), eventually he gained his father’s Ire, and was tasked with proving himself a worthy noble, so he joined up with the adventuring guild That’s the short, and sweet of it, I’m keeping the rest for myself :)

Backstory/history: Lia’s tribe comes from a deep jungle in the South where the rainy season lasts most of the year and it is tropic and warm.

When Lia was young, she and her brother were exchanged by the elders to another tribe to ensure that the Elven bloodlines within the jungle would not dwindle.

At a young age, Lia had always been interested in the fey, and grew close to the local priestess of Titania and Oberon and the two fell in love. She taught Lia many things about the fey, leading her into being a druid.

Just before the age of one hundred during a celebration of the full moon when a magical force raged over the tribe. In the following morning, the priestess was gone, and Lia left to find her.

She took up a hermetic life to find what stole her best friend and maybe finding her.

RP Sample:

The sunrise paints oranges and reds, shadowed by the trees and the branches that covers Lia’s dwelling. Travelling into the city is almost like a ceremony in itself, it’ll take a good few hours of walking just to reach the fringe of farmlife before she can even find a store to sell her wares. Her old leather skirt needs to be replaced and as she shrugs it over her hips she’ll think about her plans of the day. Trading herbs with the townsfolk, a replacement for her skirt and a few bowls and some meat.

The last thing she does before leaving is dismantling her abode, taking care to scatter things for anothers future use before she begins her walk.

Backstory/history: Not all wizards are stuck up bookworms, some just want to make people laugh. John has always been in a family of pranksters and tricksters. His Dad was a street performer, his Grandmother was a performer before him, and now John has taken up the performance mantle. However, unlike his father, he does not plan to be a lowly clown (sorry, HARLEQUIN). He’s actually kind of sick of clowns, and wants to try to find a new way of making people laugh without humiliating himself. He, instead, wants to try embarrassing OTHERS. He has been studying magic and now considers himself a rookie wizard. Using his illusionary magic to befuddle the mind and trick the dimwitted, he aims to become the world’s best and first professional comedy wizard. But… In order to do that he’s going to need money, something he doesn’t really have. So he’s taken up adventuring to not only travel and show off his comedic skills, but to also earn the money needed to live his dream.

A small amount of sweat formed on John’s forehead, nervousness tugged at the back of his mind, the only indication was his polite smile faltering just a tad and the grip around his wand getting tighter.

“You think that was funny?” A very tall and very muscular fighter asked, cornering John against the brick wall. The man’s face was covered in the remnants of blueberry pie.

“C-Calm down, it was just an illusion! See?” With a snap of his fingers, the illusionary pie disappeared leaving the man spotless. However, he still looked very pissed off.

“Illusion or not, I don’t take humiliation too kindly, you scrawny little punk.” The scene was starting to draw attention, as a few people turned their heads and watched what they assumed was a kid about to get his face punched in.

John chuckled nervously “C'mon, can’t you learn to take a joke? Laugh a little!” He tried to slide against the wall to get some distance from himself and the stranger, but the man reached an arm out and forcibly grabbed John’s shoulder, giving it a hard squeeze that made the young wizard flinch. That was going to leave a bruise.

“Oh, I love jokes. How’s about this one, what did the brat eat for lunch?” There was a moment of silence as John looked around. Weren’t any of these gathering people going to help or where they just going to watch?! His attention was pulled back when the man shook him “WELL?”

“U-Uh, I dunno. What did the b-brat eat for lunch?” John’s wand felt heavy in his hand.

“A knuckle sandwich–!” The man reared back a fist, ready to break John’s nose when suddenly a loud roar reverberated through the air. Several people gasped and a few screamed.

“That was a dragon’s roar!”

“Where is it?”

“It sounded close!”

The fighter let go of John’s shoulder and looked around for the dragon, drawing his sword. Where was it? It had sounded like it was right above them. It took a moment before everybody realized there was no dragon. And now there was no wizard either.

“Thank gods for auditory illusions.” John whispered under his breath as he made his way through the crowd, having cast Disguise Self to easily pass through undetected as an elven trader. He heard the fighter scream out in frustration and start pushing his way through the crowd. He passed John without so much of a glance.
