no one:
my body after doing anything;
đAphrodite's Water đ
This is a fruit-infused water recipe that I have affectionally coined Aphrodite water because of my personal associations with her and how I use this water. This is my UPG.
This is a simple recipe you probably already make, so why not add it to your magical and devotional routine; its ease of access, easiness to make, and versatility make it a powerful potion, great for spells, or an offering.
How it is Used:
As a potion: tailor the fruits to taste and desired magical & health properties. I drink this to connect with Aphrodite and increase my feelings of beauty, self-love, and increase my libido. I am also actively trying to be healthier and it's a good replacement for unhealthy beverages. I often combine drinking this with self-care and self-love rituals dedicated to Aphrodite. It creates an atmosphere.
As an offering: say a prayer to Aphrodite as you prepare it and offer it to her. I will typically keep this on my altar and pair it with rose quartz and sea shells.
Spells: when using for spells, I especially like to use rose petals as a garnish because I feel like it pleases Aphrodite (and me) but it's optional.
Best used in spells for abundance, fertility, self-love, romantic love, and attraction.
Use it to create a spell jar; in this case, I often add flower petals and herbs. I will often also add incense ashes or essential oils in scents associated with Aphrodite such as sandalwood. Depending on the spell, I may write something on a piece of paper and have it dissolve in the water.
Use it to extinguish spells involving fire: when burning bay leaves, or other ingredients for spells as mentioned above, I will extinguish the fire with this water.
Fruits To Use:
*many fruits/plants can be associated, but not all "infuse" the water well enough for it to taste good if you're drinking it.
Pomegranate: said to be first planted by Aphrodite herself.
Strawberries
Raspberries
Blackberries
Figs
Apples: we all know that famous story
Watermelon
What's needed:
Water
Ice (optional, but recommended if you're drinking it)
Lemon, lime, or oranges
Your choice of fresh or frozen fruit that is associated with love, lust, beauty, or sex
Reusable straw (optional, but recommended if you're drinking it)
Rose petals for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Mix a generous amount of freshly squeezed lemon, lime, or orange with water as a base. Add your fruit and ice, shake/stir, then done. For some fruit choices, you may have to allow it some time to infuse. I recommend using a straw as citrus can be hard on your teeth if you're drinking it.

The sea she calls to me. Thalassa the primordial goddess of the sea. Her soothing crash of the waves soothe my frazzled nerves. You can feel her motherly embrace as the water from the waves surround your feet in the sand. She was never the enemy of humans as some proclaimed in ancient texts.

Witchcraft/Wicca
The best way to remember if you land under the wiccan title or witch title is to think of it like this:
Witchcraft is an activity, think like sport. Wicca is a religion, like any other religion.
Therefore:
You can be a Jewish baseballer as much as you can be a Jewish witch. You can be a wiccan baseballer, you can be a wiccan witch. But you have to do that hobby to claim to be it. You canât say youâre a baseballer if youâve never played a game in your life, youâre just a collect if all you do is collect baseball things. Youâre a collector or fan or like the aesthetic, youâre not a witch if you donât actually DO witchcraft.
Same as religion, you canât state youâre a wiccan if you know nothing about wicca. At least learn the freaken basics. You canât claim to be Jewish if you havenât done the work, well same as wicca. Pick up a book or search some website and actually read up on what youâre claiming to be. You might find itâs not actually for you and thatâs cool.
Be whatever, just make sure youâre not using the title of someoneâs âactivityâ or religion as an excuse to use an âaestheticâ. If you are, simply donât call yourself a witch or wiccan, put clearly in your info that your posts are âaesthetic onlyâ stop claiming to be something youâre not. Itâs hurting people and the community. If you want to be a part of it, awesome! Pick up a book, check out multiple websites, and educate yourself properly and actually practice what you read! And continue doing, not just once or a handful of times. You have to put effort into it!!!
I agree with the overall point you're making 100% but I think Judaism was a bad example to pick here lol.
Judaism is an ethnoreligion. It is a culture and Peoplehood you can be born into just as much as it is a religious practice, so it's extremely possible to not know shit about Jewish religious practice (or even practice a different religion, like Wicca!) and still be considered fully Jewish.
If I may chime in a bit here with my personal experiences.
I personally don't think Wicca is comparable to any other religion in such manners. Just my thoughts.
Speaking as a Catholic, take Catholicism for example. As far as the Catholic Church is concerned, you're Catholic after baptism and confirmation. You can skip all the other sacraments, not go to Mass, not do any religious activity, and not celebrate any Catholic holiday, and you could still be considered Catholic. Many practicing Catholics have never even read the Bible.
Every religion has its own things when it comes to who/what is considered in/out. When it comes to the ancient religions that have been around for thousands of years, much of them involves living traditions passed down through the ages and generations.
And Wicca is such a new religion, it simply hasn't been here long enough for the traditions to be established.
