==Q.V. Night Market == Last night I went to the Winter Night Market, which is hosted at the Queen Victoria Market. Located on the Corner of Queen and Therry St Melbourne City.

This was my first visit to the Night Market and I was left with a very good impression from the moment I walked in.

I’ve always been a firm believer of trying new things and even something I’m more comfortable with, The first glimpse into the various kiosks and stalls at the market bringing my immense appetite with me I had began to feel a sense of fullness, just the aroma and sight of all this amazing mix of food presented before my eyes.

I had time to kill prior to dinner time as I was waiting for a mate of mine, so I capitalized on the moment to contemplate what for dinner, I’m demonstrating my usual behavior here…Indecisive and Picky, mostly over the trivial matter of what’s for dinner.

When my mate arrived we finally got around to deciding what to eat, queuing up to some of the finest Melbourne had to offer bar the cliche laneway establishments and food trucks.

We both settled on a three course dinner of: ==Nepal Dining Room== * Grilled Chicken Sekuwa’s: Nepalese style cooked with Rice in Ghee, Turmeric & Cumin with Tomato and Sesame Chutney * Flavor Rating 8.5/10

==Flame Skewers== * Mixed Meat Skewers with Spicy flavored Pork Belly, Chicken and Lamb * Flavor Rating 7/10

==Butter Lake Pancakes== * Mini Pancake Sandwich’s which came in three sweet and addictive flavors of Nutella, Oreo - Cookies and Creme plus Choc Chip Peanut Butter. * Flavor Rating 9.5/10

We both gave time to digest our evening, contemplating a future visit due to the quality and quantity of choices given to us.

So far I’m game to bringing some of my friends to it in the new year. Possibly to different food offerings.

Tue 26/09/17 Food Blog #02

I’ve been eating unhealthy as of recent due to me commencing a new job, however today’s weather being a fabulous sunny 16 degrees and to welcome in Spring 2017 it compelled me to make a change, something that would take my tastebuds on a journey.

==Hey Jude== Went to a local cafe in Essendon, Hey Jude is where to go for all the action for brunch time or coffee time, it will sure be a hit for your hunger pains.

Firstly ordered a Banana, Mango and Passionfruit smoothie which was refreshing, sweet and tangy. [Taste Score: 9/10]

This was followed by Avocado Smash & Heirloom Tomatoes on Toast, notes of pomegranate and chill eliminated the buttery flavor of the avocado, meanwhile offering a generous serving of poached eggs. This meal was a complete success in my opinion however less avocado spread could have sufficed. [Taste Score: 8.5/10]

Hey Jude is located on 4/100 Keilor Rd, Essendon VIC 3040 and is open 07:00-16:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00-16:00 Sunday’s.

Sun 24/09/17 Food Blog #01

This afternoon I decided to visit the weekly Flemington Farmers Market, which is at Mount Alexander College Flemington. 169-175 Mount Alexander Road, Flemington VIC 3031.

==Grains and Cereal Kiosk== The first thing I noticed was a stall that sold Granola, having had my run of poor experiences for breakfast cereal I’m finally giving this stuff a try, had a small sample of it which had some yoghurt inside. Score 9/10

==Cocoa Rhapsody== I’ve been eating a fair bit of chocolate lately and my purchase of this Organic Chilli Chocolate from Cocoa Rhapsody. This one in particular hit me towards the very end flavors dark chocolate with a final hit of chill I hope to enjoy this over a great glass of red wine. Score 9/10

==Hue Boy== Before departing I ventured to a kiosk run by my mate and his brother, Hue Boy which made its debut appearance at the market this afternoon, I had a nice full bowl of Beef Pho with Sriracha sauce, was very refreshing and filling, worth the $12 I spent and considering supporting my mates business. Overall 10/10
