YOU DIRTY BLUE
You Dirty Blue are new up coming band from Tamworth mainly operating in the Birmingham music scene. When I first heard their self titled EP I was shocked that these lads are from Tamworth. Most bands with their EP is done with half wit but these guys have really captured their own sound as a band. It’s true rock and roll songs embellish this band with elements of psych, pop punk, garage. It has a raw edge that just makes you want to listen to more and more. I am yet to catch these guys live but I can imagine my mind will be blown. Sections with in their songs are heavy and it’s literally face melting. I can really see this band making a name for them selves in the music scene, each song has enough energy and catchy lyrics for them to be one of the best up coming bands in the midlands. Go follow this band and go see them live because I have no doubt they will be making fast footsteps to claim a huge fan base.
You can check out their EP on most music platforms including spotify.

JACOB CASEY (ART WORK)
Jacob Casey is a first year student studying graphic design. He has recently started doing really wavy art for bands, clothing lines and labels. He use’s art as an escape and to self express. The art work is very experimental and is influenced of mother nature and the world of psychedelia creating mind altering art for a groovay projects. Watch out for this artist as I have no doubt he will be doing art for some of the best new music and clothing lines.

Have a Groovay day
TWIN PEAKS (OLD BLUE LAST)
Chicago lads ‘Twin peaks’ took to the stage last night at the old blue last in London. The gig was free entry and the support band were ‘The MVPS’ Bringing their 60′s garage vibes and heart racing vocals to a British crowd, it was going to be a mad night.
First to start the night were thee MVP’S. They are a band to watch out for. They bring so much energy to a live crowd. The venue was packed by the time they were on and the last song was they stood up on the amplifiers that were gazing through their mad crunch from the guitars and bass. I noticed them both soloing at the same time and it blew my fucking mind. go check them out.
after, it was time. Twin peaks were about to take the stage and the queue to get in was mad and after seeing their set I know now why. The first thing I noticed was the blood on Clay Frankel’s guitar (also one of the singers) you could just tell they were getting gritty at their past shows. He was playing a white tear drop guitar so the blood was noticeable. As he was tuning up, the rest of the band were passing around tequila. They started playing their set and I literally thought the floor was going to cave in and continued to hold on for my life through out their set, even if the floor did collapse it would of been worth it. I have never been to a gig where there has been so much energy like this, it was different. Song after song, they were just dropping the bangers from the albums you might have listened to. if not you should check it out it will be stuck in your head for a lifetime. Catchy 60′s garage, what is not to like? this band have been sculptured into talented rock stars all bringing their mad catchy songs to one band (a fucking good band indeed). It wasn't just the one singer, all of them were singing. each and every song would be sung by another one of the band members, it just keeps it exciting, it was a mind fuck but they can fuck my mind when ever they like. If they ever come to a show near you then just go, I can’t explain enough how much of a good gig this was.
