東京ヲトギバナシ

コスメティックブランドの「KATE」の期間限定キャンペーン「東京ヲトギバナシ」のパッケージイラストの制作。担当した商品はアイシャドウパッケージ（箱、容器）、口紅（箱、容器）、アイライナー（箱、容器）の３点×3種の世界観と、PR動画内のアニメーションのためのキャラ設定画。 ３つの既存の日本の昔話、「鶴の恩返し」「竹取物語」「狐の嫁入り」をテーマとしてKATEのブランドイメージを掛け合わせることをご依頼いただき、それをイラストで表現した。キャラクターのデザイン、衣装のデザイン、アイテム毎のパッケージデザインのレイアウトを担当した。アジア地域限定での販売なので地域性を考慮したデザインを試みた。特に主な販売地域である日本を意識した。 また、PR動画に使われる動物のキャラクターのアニメーション部分の設定画を提供。実際立体のラフな粘土作品をつくって三面図をアニメーターへ提供した。 OFFICIAL SITE       

Reinterpretation of Japanese  Folklore Heroines Tokyo Otogi Banashi       

I made packaging illustrations for Japanese major cosmetic brand “KATE”. the packages are special and limited edition.I was in charge of package illustration and layout design (eyeliner, rouge, eyeshadow), and character references for animation part of PR video.Kanebo Cosmetics( has owned KATE brand ) commissioned me to combine old Japanese Folklore stories and the world of view Japanese major cosmetic brand “KATE” and express as cosmetic package illustrations. so I made the character designs, outfit designs etc. these items are available in only Asia, so I kept mind to make regionality on the character designs. especially in Japan. regarding character references for animation part of PR video,I made a three-view drawing each animal character.
